Open House Vilnius is an open architecture weekend held in my home city Vilnius, which has been organised since 2015. During such weekends, the buildings in Vilnius that have a remarkable architectural quality are opened to the public. In 2019 the number of visitors reached a total of 36,4000.
For the 5th anniversary of Open House Vilnius the organisers held a public poster competition. 147 posters were submitted and I was lucky to win the 3rd place.

Vilnius is a city that contains architectural pieces of different styles from various time periods.
These contrasting old and new city parts exist in a constant urbanistic transformation. The goal is to keep a balanced city life. These modifications are similar to Rubik’s Cube: the purpose is to solve structural problem by moving the parts independently without the entire mechanism falling apart.
